Where the three meet

Most fraud cases cross lines: crypto paid to a broker, a broker hiding behind a company, a company behind the wallets. We cover all three under one roof, to one standard of evidence.

  • One team and one file, even when a case crosses disciplines
  • Findings that are documented, reproducible and independently verifiable
  • Reports written for counsel, regulators and the police to act on

Led by Hanna Adynets

Cryptocurrency & blockchain investigations

We trace crypto from the victim’s wallet to the exchanges that received it, and document every step for court and the authorities.

  • Funds traced across Bitcoin, Ethereum, TRON, Polygon and other networks
  • Exchange deposit addresses identified, with confidence levels
  • Stablecoin balances flagged for freeze requests through the authorities

Led by Tahir Khan

Financial dispute resolution & broker investigations

For losses through forex, CFD and investment firms. We measure each firm’s conduct against local law and its regulator’s rules, with local counsel where the broker is licensed.

  • Case assessment and a clear view of the routes available
  • Regulatory complaints and the supporting documents
  • In specific situations, with the client’s written authority, acting before ombudsmen and regulators

We handle disputes involving brokers regulated in Cyprus (CySEC), Canada (CIRO and the provincial securities regulators), South Africa (FSCA) and Australia (ASIC), and by offshore authorities including Mauritius (FSC), Belize (IFSC), the Seychelles (FSA) and Vanuatu (VFSC).

Financial crime & OSINT investigations

Cross-border cases where money moved through banks, payment providers and companies as well as blockchains. Open-source intelligence shows who was behind a fraud and where the money went.

  • Fiat flows through banks, payment providers and money transfer services
  • Websites, domains, phones and online identities behind a scheme
  • Companies, licences and “lawyers” checked against registries and regulators

Tahir Khan

CEO & Co-Founder

Tahir co-founded T&H Consulting International in 2019 and oversees the firm’s strategic direction, business development and financial dispute resolution work. His background spans finance, law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate and cryptocurrency, giving him a cross-disciplinary view of complex financial crime.

He has a detailed working knowledge of how brokerages operate in practice — onboarding, trade execution and pricing, deposits and withdrawals, and licensing across jurisdictions. In broker disputes this helps identify where a firm’s conduct departs from what a properly regulated broker would be expected to do, and which records are needed to document it.

He leads the firm’s dispute work, coordinates the legal partner network and manages the handover to local counsel. He also oversees Learnvent, T&H’s affiliated professional development and events platform.

Collaboration

Working with us

T&H is open to collaboration with law enforcement, legal teams, compliance functions and any professional whose work intersects with financial crime. Through our investigations we have built a substantial body of anonymised fraud intelligence — infrastructure patterns, routing typologies and cross-jurisdictional network data — which we are open to sharing with the right partners in the right context.

Case Insights

What happens after the report

Most of our reports end up with the police, a regulator or a prosecutor. We write them so the people deciding can act on them, and we stay available while they do. A few recent matters, anonymised.

Latin America · East Africa

Two days

A wire to a newly registered company, a freeze request within two days, and what a frozen account can and cannot do.

Canada

An unauthorised transfer by a licensed dealer

A dealer wired a client’s money on forged instructions. Through the ombudsman, it paid the full amount plus interest.

Hungary

Heard as a witness by the Budapest police

Our lead investigator gave evidence on the basis of our report, followed by draft requests for the investigator.
